OUR SHOWS
What should you expect
from a Cowboy Choir Show?
Songs you’ll know
and harmonies you’ll love!
THE SHOW: A Cowboy Choir show is a sensational experience that brings together an uncommon combination of musical elements. Their acoustic instruments lay a warm and intimate foundation, familiar to fans of folk and Americana. But contrary to many acoustic groups, Cowboy Choir perform well-known songs from their eclectic and extensive repertoire of early rock & roll, contemporary gems, jazz standards, and country-western favorites. Audiences never have trouble singing along and clapping their hands to so many of familiar tunes.
The group is blessed with gifted lead singers, who have completed many years of vocal training. But at the apex of any Cowboy Choir show are the well-crafted harmonies that only a few can present. They take great care to make every chord ring, whether presenting their own original vocal arrangements or when paying homage to the great harmony singers of the past, including the Andrew Sisters; Crosby, Still, and Nash; the Beatles; and Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Cowboy Songs: from the
Great Plains to the Silver Screen
Cowboy Choir can perform an entire Cowboy Theme Show, featuring songs from the days of the western cattle drives to the era of the Hollywood singing cowboy. This includes many of the best remembered, traditional tunes that have been passed down through the generations or were saved by the arduous efforts of John and Alan Lomax. Also featured are Twentieth Century cowboy songs that were made famous by movie and radio legends such as Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and Patsy Montana.
The show can be all music, featuring dozens of cowboy songs for your entertainment.  Also available, the show can take a fact-based, educational approach, providing background on the cowboy era, revealing the origins and importance of the songs, and comparing the musical styles of the traditional and Hollywood songs. Either way, Cowboy Choir always features their well-crafted harmonies that lead you down the trail to a great time.
